H2 test infrastructures in Wallonia • 11 june 2026
Events
During this event, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Wallonia hydrogen ecosystem through presentations as well as visits to state-of-the-art facilities (CRM & BeBlue).
The European Green SKHy project and the regional e‑WallonHy project invite you to an event dedicated to innovation, testing infrastructures, and skills required across the EU hydrogen value chain.
These elements are essential for the successful development of the emerging green hydrogen market, and Wallonia has strong expertise in these fields. During this event, welcoming 30 experts and academics from EU*, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in these topics through presentations as well as visits to state-of-the-art facilities.
The VirtuWal Lab – a flagship tool of the Walloon S3 – will be officially launched in a world-premiere setting during the event. Participants will have the exclusive opportunity to discover and actively explore the platform during the academic matchmaking lunch.
This event will also provide an opportunity to connect all Belgian universities—already well connected through the BeHyfe project—with neighbouring universities. The University of Lorraine, the University of Luxembourg, the Marie‑and‑Louis‑Pasteur University, and the University of Applied Engineering Sciences of Fribourg have already confirmed their participation. In order to foster these exchanges and potentially create opportunities for cross‑border inter‑university partnerships, academic matchmaking tables will be organised during the networking lunch in a dedicated "corner". If you would like to showcase your academy with communication materials (banners, flyers, small demonstrators, etc.), please feel free to contact us so that we can arrange this academic corner under the best possible conditions

Discover during the lab tour at CRM Group and BeBlue Cryogenics the advanced expertise and dedicated hydrogen testing tools that cover the full value chain of the hydrogen ecosystem. Their facilities offer insight on material selection, validation and certification for transport and storage in a broad range of pressures and temperatures under representative hydrogen conditions. One of the stops is the autonomous, connected, containerised electrolyser pilot that demonstrates decentralized hydrogen production under optimal technical and economic conditions.
