How Can Hydrogen Valleys Connect and Grow Stronger Together?

Événements

This webinar will present European initiatives working on the replication and interconnection of hydrogen valleys, including the experience of the Foundation Hydrogen Aragon, partner of 10 hydrogen valleys financed by the clean hydrogen partnership. It will also introduce the Hydrogen Cities Call, a new opportunity for regions and cities.

    Introduction

Hydrogen valleys are local ecosystems that bring together hydrogen production, transport, storage and end-use. They are central to Europe's ambition of establishing 100 hydrogen valleys in 2030. Yet while each valley has so far focused on its own challenges, many face similar obstacles, and they can move faster by working together.

That is the purpose of ValHyCon, an Interreg North-West Europe project bringing together eight key players, each developing its own hydrogen valley. Through transnational cooperation, ValHyCon aims to:

    • exchange and document best practices and lessons learned,

    • launch concrete pilot initiatives for cross-border collaboration,

    • develop a coordinated long-term strategy to physically connect hydrogen valleys.

This webinar will present ValHyCon alongside other European initiatives working on the replication and interconnection of hydrogen valleys, including the experience of the Foundation Hydrogen Aragon, partner of 10 hydrogen valleys financed by the clean hydrogen partnership, and the Hydrogen Valleys S3 Partnership. It will also introduce the Hydrogen Cities Call, a new opportunity for regions and cities.

Join us to learn from these initiatives, ask your questions and explore possible collaborations with partners across Europe!
